Play without work makes me miserable. Seriously, it does.
Whenever I have fun for an awful long period without working, things go haywire. Comedy clips become less funny, films become uninteresting, and worse, my beloved Japanese anime lose color.
Whenever this happens, I become restless, and get strange headaches. I would play interesting videos but close them within minutes. I would toss aside books after reading a few lines. To calm my restless mind, I would try sleeping more but after a while, sleep would become a chore.
Here is the craziest part.
For days or weeks, I would be clueless as to the cause of my misery. Eventually, I would stumble upon work and dedicate my very being to working. And then, like magic...
After a full day of working hard, I would become animated, energized and things would return to normal. When I play a good movie, time would freeze. Before I know it, the movie would be over. I would watch anime and twenty-minute videos would finish within a minute.
Is something wrong with me or is it my temperament? I will blame my temperament. All I can be sure of is - without working on something meaningful, I will be miserable.

What about you?
